What do you mean by "One of a Kind Cremation Urns?
-From the Artist-
All of my works are truly one of a kind pieces. I shun automation that makes copies. I won't insult you by mass producing a model of urn and then say it's a one of a kind because the wood grain is different. You are not a foolish emperor and I am not a tailor who has an invisible suit of clothes for you.
How do I know the correct size of Cremation Urn to order?
We go by cubic inches. The general rule of thumb is one cubic inch = one pound of weight at time of passing. That means if a person weighed 150 pounds at time of passing, the cremation urn that you order should have a capacity of 150 cubic inches or more. There are other factors that can affect this general rule of thumb such as the ratio of ideal weight vs. amount of adipose tissue that your crematory can help you with. We can only be responsible for disclosed capacity vs. actual weight explained in our terms and conditions.
Every listing at http://cremation-urns.jcscarpentry.com will contain an icon that discloses each cremation urn's capacity.
Why do you make you cremation urns one of a kind?
-From the Artist- I am an artist and My canvas is wood. I love woodworking because I can make every piece different, one at a time. There are infinite combinations to make a Cremation Urn just like there are infinite combinations to make a whole person. We are not cranked out clones. We have strengths, weakness, perfections and quirks that make us unique. What contains a unique individual's remains should follow suit.
