JCS Carpentry & Woodworking has been in business in the state of Massachusetts for 6 years and previously in Texas under the name JCS Construction Enterprises. Jacob C. Sutherland is the JCS of JCS Carpentry & Woodworking. Jacob has been in carpentry related trades for 15 years. This coupled with an education steeped in visual arts, music, and language arts from Ambassador University in Big Sandy TX., Eastern Michigan University, and the Art Institute of Dallas has formed the artist that makes makes the cremation urns that you see before you.

All of our cremation urns are one of a kind in every way. What that means is we don't insult you by mass producting our urns and then claiming they are one of a kind because the wood grain is different.

Our urns are different from each and every other urn we make and certainly different than everybody else's urns because they are made one at a time, by hand, and by an actual artisan.

Each individual piece is dear to us for two reasons:

1. An artist stops being an artist when he loses his passion for the piece he is working on. He may love the piece, he may hate the piece, or it may be a mixture of everything, but if he loses his passion and it becomes just a job you shouldn't pay two cents.

2. We know you love the person to whom a particular urn is destined for. We know what it is like to lose a loved one. We know what that sudden hole in your life feels like and we know you want the very best to remember your Dear One.
